Blank Slate Game respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users and contributors to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (“DMCA”), we will respond expeditiously to valid claims of copyright infringement reported to us.
Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that content hosted on https://blankslategame.com infringes your copyright, please submit a written notification via our contact page containing the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- The exact URL(s) on our site where the allegedly infringing material appears
- Your full name, mailing address, telephone number and email address
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf
- Your physical or electronic signature
Our Response
Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we will remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material promptly, notify the content contributor where applicable, and document the takedown. Incomplete notices may delay processing.
Counter-Notification
If you believe material you posted was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification containing your contact information, identification of the removed material and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury of your good-faith belief the removal was erroneous, and your consent to the jurisdiction of your local federal court. If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material within 10โ14 business days unless the original complainant files a court action.
Repeat Infringers
It is our policy to terminate contribution privileges of users who are found to be repeat infringers.
Good Faith Notice
Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages. Consider consulting legal counsel before filing if you are unsure.
